Kitzbühel International Loyal Guest Club Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Kitzbühel celebrated the 50th anniversary of its International Loyal Guest Club, an organization connecting approximately 10,000 members from over 40 countries.
The Austrian resort town of Kitzbühel marked a significant milestone in July 2026, celebrating the 50th anniversary of its International Loyal Guest Club (Internationaler Stammgäste Club Kitzbühel). Founded in 1976, the club is unique in Austria and unites around 10,000 members from more than 40 countries who share a deep connection to the Alpine town.
The anniversary event drew over 150 Kitzbühel "ambassadors" from numerous nations. A highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of an oversized loyal guest pin in the Legend Park. The festivities took place at the newly renovated club house adjacent to the golf course and included the club's general assembly, where a new executive committee was elected.
Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser, Managing Director of Kitzbühel Tourism, emphasized the profound gratitude for the guests' long-standing loyalty and their role as enthusiastic ambassadors for the region. Many members visit Kitzbühel frequently, often bringing younger generations of their families, whose recommendations in turn inspire new visitors to discover the area.
The Loyal Guest Club operates as an independent association with its own statutes. Regular accolades and an annual gathering reinforce the members' bond with Kitzbühel. This commitment fosters a sense of belonging that extends beyond national borders, significantly contributing to the resort's profile and appeal.
