Kitzbühel Introduces Cycling Route with Scenic Cafe Stop

Kitzbühel Tourism has unveiled a new cycling route, the "CR2 | Espresso | Ruetzenhof." This route is designed to appeal to a variety of cyclists, including road cyclists, e-bikers, gravel riders, and mountain bikers.

The route features a picturesque segment leading towards Kirchberg, followed by a 15-20 minute ascent. At the summit, cyclists can visit a restaurant situated in an isolated location offering breathtaking views of Kirchberg. The establishment is known for providing excellent cake and coffee.

Spanning 50.51 kilometers with an elevation gain of 299 meters, the route's highest point reaches 1060 meters. Kitzbühel Tourism recommends this route primarily for the summer season.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Kitzbühel and its surrounding areas also offer a range of other cycling opportunities, including more challenging trails and bike parks.
