Kitzbühel Museum is presenting a special exhibition titled "From Wagon Maker to Ski Manufacturer" until April 13, detailing the transformation of local craftsmanship during the pioneering days of tourism.

The exhibition focuses on the period around the turn of the 20th century, when Kitzbühel was emerging as a leading European winter sports destination. It illustrates how traditional trades such as wagon making, shoemaking, and tailoring evolved to meet the demands of the burgeoning tourism industry.

Visitors can view hundreds of artifacts from the museum's collection and loans, showcasing the innovative spirit of local artisans. These items paint a picture of the crucial decades that saw Kitzbühel rise as an exclusive winter resort.

Museum hours are: until March 31, Tuesday-Sunday 2 PM-6 PM, Saturday 10 AM-6 PM. From April 1, Tuesday-Friday 10 AM-1 PM, Saturday 10 AM-5 PM. The exhibition offers a glimpse into Kitzbühel's history and its development into a premier destination.
