Kitzbühel Regular Guests Club Celebrates 50 Years

Kitzbühel Tourism celebrated the 50th anniversary of its International Regular Guests Club in July 2026. Established in 1976, the club now boasts around 10,000 members hailing from more than 40 countries, making it a unique tourism loyalty program.

Events marking the occasion included the unveiling of an oversized Regular Guests Honorary Pin at Legends Park, created by local blacksmith Heinz Sohler. Over 150 Kitzbühel ambassadors from numerous countries gathered for the General Assembly, held at the newly renovated clubhouse, where a new Executive Board was elected. Attendees represented a wide age range and travelled from afar, including one member who rode a motorcycle from London.

The anniversary weekend also featured a guided tour of Kitzbühel's historic town center, a round of golf, and an excursion to the Schwarzsee moorland nature reserve. Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser, CEO of Kitzbühel Tourism, highlighted the deep gratitude for the guests' enduring loyalty and their role as passionate ambassadors for the region.

The club operates as an independent association with its own statutes, a structure that remains unique in Austria. Long-standing loyal guests, referred to as Kitzbühel Ambassadors, are honored throughout the year. The annual gathering allows members to strengthen existing friendships and forge new ones, reinforcing their connection to Kitzbühel.
