Kitzbühel to Host Numerous Events and Celebrations This Summer

Kitzbühel Tourism has unveiled its summer lineup, highlighting a range of new offerings and anniversary celebrations. The Austrian alpine town will host international sporting events, including the recent Austrian Alpine Open golf tournament and the return of women's professional tennis. The program also introduces new leisure activities and cultural experiences for visitors.

Dr. Viktoria Veider-Walser, Managing Director of Kitzbühel Tourism, emphasized the region's dynamic development and the successful integration of tradition with innovation. "It is a great pleasure to see how dynamically the Kitzbühel region has developed in recent years. The combination of living tradition and new inspiration is particularly beautiful," Veider-Walser stated. She noted the 100th anniversary of the local market and the 50th anniversaries of the Londoner Club and the International Guest Club Kitzbühel.

The summer event calendar features several concerts and cultural performances. The Kitzbühel Tennis Stadium will serve as a venue for concerts and cabaret shows. Comedian Monika Gruber is scheduled to perform in August, as is singer Andrea Berg for her summer open-air concert. The band Pizzera & Jaus will also take the stage at the stadium in September.

Additionally, the Kitzbühel Summer Concerts series will present chamber music, and the local museum is hosting an exhibition focused on the Schwarzsee lake's nature and history. The Kunstbühel+ art center is organizing various art and music performances, alongside the 100th-anniversary celebration of the Kitzbühel market.
