Kitzbühel Tourism Launches Hand-Painted Espresso Cups
Kitzbühel Tourism has introduced a new line of hand-painted espresso cups available for purchase through its Kitzshop. The cups feature local motifs and artisanal craftsmanship.

Kitzbühel Tourism is expanding its product offerings with the introduction of hand-painted espresso cups, sold through the Kitzshop online store. These pieces are designed to capture the essence of the popular Austrian tourist destination, appealing to visitors and locals alike.
Each cup is individually hand-painted by artist Barbara Schmidt, ensuring a unique aesthetic for every item. Constructed from 100% stoneware, the cups feature an enamel-like finish with a dark blue rim and deliberate "rust spots" that contribute to their rustic charm. The name "Kitzbühel" is inscribed in Kurrentschrift, adding a touch of historical calligraphy.
The collection offers a variety of designs, including "Hauszeile" (a street name style), "Skifahrer" (skier), "Skifahrerin" (female skier), "Skier", and "Gondel" (gondola), each reflecting iconic elements of the Kitzbühel experience. The "Made in the Region" and "Kitzbühel Gams Kopf" symbols signify the local origin and artisanal production.
According to Kitzbühel Tourism, the cups are dishwasher safe and are priced at €27.00 each. This initiative is part of the Kitzshop's broader effort to provide authentic, regionally produced souvenirs and gifts, with many items available for under €30.
