KJF Regensburg Equips Sites with EV Charging Infrastructure

Katholische Jugendfürsorge (KJF) Regensburg is implementing a significant project to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its facilities. In collaboration with ENERANDO, KJF aims to enhance its commitment to sustainable development and reduce its carbon footprint by deploying charging stations throughout its operational areas.

The initiative focuses on equipping KJF's sites in Bavaria's Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz) and Lower Bavaria (Niederbayern), along with one location in Upper Franconia (Oberfranken), with EV charging solutions. This project is aligned with KJF's broader objectives to actively contribute to climate protection and promote environmentally friendly practices.

Michael Eibl, Director of KJF, emphasized the project's role in building a sustainable future, stating that the installation of charging infrastructure is a crucial step towards fulfilling their environmental responsibilities. He noted that KJF selected ENERANDO as a partner due to their expertise and ability to develop tailored solutions that meet KJF's diverse needs.

Wolfgang Berg, Head of Economics and Finance at KJF, added that ENERANDO is a dynamic company offering robust charging infrastructure solutions with a strong value proposition. Matthias Schmid, CEO of ENERANDO, confirmed that the company is developing customized, future-proof, and scalable solutions to meet KJF's requirements and on-site conditions.

This project supports KJF's long-term sustainability goals, which have previously included efforts to improve energy efficiency and promote renewable energy usage. By introducing charging points, KJF also seeks to establish a prominent example for environmentally conscious mobility in the region.
