Klaria and RTHS Sign Agreement for Early Migraine Detection
Klaria AB and RTHS have signed a collaboration agreement to develop a method for detecting migraines before symptoms appear, utilizing RTHS's sensor-based blood dynamics measurements.
Klaria AB, a pharmaceutical company, and RTHS, a Swedish medtech firm, have entered into a collaboration agreement focused on early migraine detection.
The agreement aims to leverage RTHS's sensor-based measurements of blood dynamics to identify migraines prior to the onset of typical symptoms. Earlier detection could allow patients to intervene sooner, potentially by avoiding environmental triggers or initiating medication.
Klaria has previously secured EU regulatory approval for its Sumatriptan Alginate Film, a treatment for migraine, and has licensed the product for EU market launch. This new partnership is expected to enhance the company's offerings in migraine management.
The collaboration is anticipated to yield new diagnostic tools and treatment approaches for individuals suffering from migraines, potentially leading to reduced attack severity and improved patient outcomes.
