Klaria Pharma outlines US commercialization strategy and European launch plans
Klaria Pharma is moving toward a European launch for its Sumatriptan Alginate Film while finalizing a strategic framework to secure a US partner.
Klaria Pharma Holding AB has provided an update on the commercial rollout of its Sumatriptan Alginate Film (SAF), a migraine treatment currently licensed to CNX Therapeutics. The company is preparing for the product's debut in Europe, representing a significant milestone in its move toward market availability.
Simultaneously, the firm has finalized a strategic roadmap for a potential entry into the United States market. To facilitate this expansion, Klaria is working with the BDO UK Life Science M&A team to identify and secure licensing partners. The objective is to establish commercial agreements that scale SAF distribution beyond Europe.
These activities form part of a broader push to capitalize on the company's proprietary film technology. By leveraging external M&A expertise, Klaria aims to finalize international licensing deals intended to improve the firm’s long-term financial position.
