KLC introduces thermal testing and heating solutions for semiconductor and EV sectors
Taiwan-based KLC Corporation has debuted thermal test vehicle solutions to optimize chip design and high-voltage heating technology for electric vehicles.

Taichung-based KLC Corporation has launched a series of Thermal Test Vehicle (TTV) solutions designed to assist in the validation of chip and wafer layouts. The technology allows engineers to simulate thermal loads in high-power electronic devices, facilitating the early-stage verification of liquid cooling systems and cold plates essential for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.
As the demand for increased computing density grows, thermal management during the wafer design phase has become a significant engineering challenge. KLC’s TTV solutions provide the necessary data to evaluate cooling performance before full-scale manufacturing, supporting architectures in GPU platforms and advanced packaging.
Parallel to its semiconductor focus, KLC is supplying high-voltage coolant heaters for the automotive sector. These systems, designed for battery preheating and cabin heating, support voltages up to 400 VDC and outputs of 12,000 watts. CEO Joanna Wu noted that the integration of thermal testing and heating capabilities addresses critical requirements for next-generation power electronics.
The company continues to serve a B2B client base across the global automotive, industrial, and semiconductor manufacturing sectors.
