KMM Group, a contract manufacturer of precision components for medical devices, announced an investment from RS2 Healthcare Partners. J. Mark King has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
HATBORO, Pennsylvania – July 27, 2026 – KMM Group, a vertically integrated contract manufacturer specializing in complex, tight-tolerance components for the medical device industry, has secured an investment from RS2 Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm.
Accompanying the investment, KMM Group announced the appointment of J. Mark King as President and Chief Executive Officer. King brings over 30 years of experience in the medical device sector, having previously led companies such as Tegra Medical and Clinical Innovations. Co-founders John Shegda and Eric Wilhelm will continue with the company in new roles: Shegda as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing engineering and technology strategy, and Wilhelm as Executive Vice President, focusing on business transformation and organizational capability.
