KNESTEL launches new reference calibrator for exhaust particle counters
KNESTEL Technologie & Elektronik GmbH has introduced the PNR 2000 K, a new reference calibrator designed for the calibration of exhaust particle measurement devices.

KNESTEL Technologie & Elektronik GmbH has released the PNR 2000 K, a new reference calibrator intended for the calibration of exhaust particle counters. This advanced model replaces its predecessor, aiming to enhance portability, reduce maintenance requirements, and improve monitoring capabilities for particle number measurements.
The PNR 2000 K utilizes KNESTEL's established salt (NaCl) aerosol technology to generate reproducible reference concentrations suitable for both laboratory and field applications. The device can produce particle concentrations of up to 2,000,000 particles per cubic centimeter and its continuous particle size monitoring makes it appropriate for modern PN and NPTI applications.
Featuring "Clean Charging Technology" for stable particle charging and reduced maintenance, the new calibrator also supports the simultaneous calibration of multiple devices. Its compact, rugged housing and optional battery operation further increase its flexibility for mobile use.
KNESTEL has focused on creating a more efficient and lower-maintenance calibrator that meets the demands of current emissions regulations and measurement standards. The company offers expert assistance for selection, integration, and validation of the equipment.
