Knight Therapeutics Licenses Women's Health Products from TherapeuticsMD
Knight Therapeutics Inc. has signed a licensing agreement with TherapeuticsMD, Inc. to commercialize two women's health products, TX-004HR and TX-001HR, in Canada and Israel.

Knight Therapeutics Inc., a Canadian specialty pharmaceutical company, has entered into a licensing agreement with TherapeuticsMD, Inc., a U.S.-based women's healthcare company. The deal grants Knight the rights to commercialize TherapeuticsMD's products TX-004HR and TX-001HR in Canada and Israel.
TX-004HR, marketed in the U.S. as Imvexxy™, is an FDA-approved product for the treatment of moderate-to-severe dyspareunia, a symptom of vulvar and vaginal atrophy (VVA) due to menopause. TX-001HR is an investigational bio-identical hormone therapy combining estradiol and progesterone in an oral softgel, intended for treating moderate-to-severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause.
Under the agreement, Knight Therapeutics will be responsible for all regulatory and commercial activities for both products in its territories. The partnership also includes a commitment for Knight Therapeutics to invest $20 million in TherapeuticsMD common stock, contingent on TherapeuticsMD's upcoming public offering.
The agreement outlines milestone payments to TherapeuticsMD based on regulatory approvals and sales targets in Canada and Israel, along with royalty payments on net sales. TherapeuticsMD focuses on women's healthcare in the U.S. and offers Imvexxy, which is noted as being the only product in its class with dual dosage strengths.
