Škoda Design Creates Green Crystal Trophy for Tour de France Femmes Points Winner

Lorena Wiebes, a Dutch cyclist, has won the points classification at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, receiving a specially designed green crystal trophy from Škoda Design. The race concluded on August 10th with its ninth stage in Nice, France, where overall victory was secured by Demi Vollering.

Škoda Auto has served as the Official Main Partner for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift since its inception in 2022. For this year's event, the company supplied a fleet of 75 electrified Superb iV and Enyaq vehicles to support race operations. Škoda also continued its sponsorship of the green jersey, awarded to the leader of the points classification.

The race director's car was an all-electric Škoda Peaq, and the new Škoda Epiq was featured in the publicity caravan as part of a promotional campaign. This year's edition was the most demanding to date, covering 1,175 kilometers with significant elevation gain.

Škoda's involvement in cycling dates back to its origins in bicycle manufacturing in 1895. The company maintains a broad commitment to the sport, supporting professional events, amateur races, and various cycling initiatives.
