Koite Health and Brånemark Osseointegration Centers Launch Research Collaboration on Preventive Implant Dentistry
Koite Health and Brånemark Osseointegration Centers (ABOC) have initiated a research collaboration to investigate the role of light-activated Lumoral® technology in maintaining peri-implant health.

Finnish oral health technology company Koite Health and the Associated Brånemark Osseointegration Centers (ABOC), a global scientific network founded on the work of Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark, the originator of osseointegration and modern implant dentistry, have announced a research-focused collaboration.
The partnership aims to advance the evidence base for protecting peri-implant health throughout the entire implant journey. ABOC brings its scientific heritage in osseointegration, while Koite Health contributes its Lumoral® technology, which utilizes light activation.
Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark is recognized as the pioneer of osseointegration and modern dental implant surgery. This initiative seeks to combine his legacy with current technology to develop new care practices.
The research will specifically focus on the significance of preventive measures in ensuring the long-term success of implant treatments. The collaboration is expected to generate new knowledge regarding the efficacy of Lumoral® technology in preventing and managing peri-implant conditions.
