The deal, effective July 1, enhances Konecranes' industrial and ports services segment by adding Coapsa's operations and staff in Viladecavalls, Spain. This expansion aligns with Konecranes' strategic goals for growth in its service businesses.
Coapsa Control Sl focuses on crane services, including inspections, for customers in the nuclear power and port industries. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Konecranes' market position and service capabilities within Spain.
