This new platform, set for a global launch, features a modular design intended to improve manufacturing efficiency and expedite deliveries to customers.
The Generation D platform encompasses Konecranes' range of lift trucks and reach stackers, with a focus on design flexibility. The modular approach allows for quicker creation and adaptation of various configurations to meet diverse customer needs, thereby reducing lead times from factory to deployment.
Initially, the platform is being introduced with new generation methanol-powered lift truck models, including the SMV SC 7533 TC stacker and the SMV PSC 4532 EC terminal tractor. These new models are specifically designed for port environments and the handling of heavy loads in industrial settings.
