Konecranes Oyj: New Shares Subscribed Using Stock Options

Konecranes Oyj announced on February 10, 2011, that 10,800 new shares were subscribed for under the company's stock option programs. The shares were issued under the 2007 A and 2007 B series option schemes, with a subscription price of 25.72 euros per share for both series.

The total subscription amount received was 277,776 euros, which will be recorded in the company's fund for invested unrestricted equity. Following these subscriptions, the total number of Konecranes shares increases to 62,293,927, including any treasury shares.

The new shares subscribed for via options have been registered with the trade register as of February 10, 2011. These shares grant their owners full shareholder rights from the registration date. Trading of the new shares is expected to commence on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki main list on February 11, 2011, alongside the existing shares.

Under the current Konecranes stock option programs, a total of 3,349,200 shares can be subscribed for. Konecranes provides lifting equipment and services to industries such as manufacturing, process, shipyards, and terminals globally. In 2010, the group's turnover was 1,546 million euros, with approximately 10,000 employees in 46 countries.
