Konecranes to modernize five auxiliary cranes at Aluminium Bahrain

Konecranes has received an order from Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the world's largest aluminum smelters, for the modernization of five auxiliary cranes at its smelter complex in Bahrain. The order was booked in January 2026, with equipment delivery planned for late 2026 and installation commencing in early 2027.

The modernization project will support safe and reliable operations in Alba's Casthouse and Mould Shop. These areas are critical for processing molten aluminum into finished products, where uninterrupted production is essential. The upgrade aims to enhance the performance and safety of the existing crane infrastructure.
