Taiwan-based AI compute operator KONST announced it has secured $30 million in Series B funding, led by ADATA Technology, with strategic participation from M Mobility and Pegatron Venture Capital.
The company plans to use the proceeds to expand its AI data center buildout throughout Asia and accelerate its Token Factory strategy. This initiative aims to address the growing enterprise demand for AI adoption by providing a layered approach to compute supply, cloud delivery, and AI governance.
KONST's business model involves three layers: compute supply, cloud delivery with per-second billing through Glows.ai, and governance and delivery via the (k) ATP Token managed by Horizon AI. This structure aims to transform compute power into a service, leveraging Taiwan's hardware and supply chain strengths.
The company highlighted that its investors, drawn from sectors like memory and storage, electrification, and electronics manufacturing, bring not only capital but also valuable synergies. These partnerships are expected to facilitate quicker integration of KONST's services into real-world enterprise applications, bolstering its position in the AI infrastructure market.
