Körber, a global supply chain and logistics technology provider, has entered into a partnership with Libiao Robotics, a specialist in autonomous mobile robots for sorting.

The collaboration aims to bring Libiao Robotics' automated parcel sorting solutions to markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Libiao Robotics focuses on sorting packages post-order picking, utilizing artificial intelligence and automation. The company has deployed over 15,000 sorting robots globally across various sectors, including postal services, retail, and manufacturing.

This partnership strengthens Körber's offerings across the entire supply chain. As e-commerce and order volumes grow, warehouses face pressure to improve efficiency and quality while managing space constraints. The addition of Libiao Robotics' solutions provides the flexibility and scalability needed to meet rising demands and seasonal peaks. The integrated solution will be branded as "K.Move AutoSort Mobile – Powered by Libiao."

Libiao Robotics' tabletop robots require minimal space and are designed for rapid deployment, reconfiguration, and scaling, offering a more accessible and flexible automation alternative to traditional fixed systems. Xia Huiling, founder and CEO of Libiao Robotics, noted that the partnership supports the company's global strategy and highlighted the increased demand for automation driven by labor shortages and health concerns exacerbated by the pandemic.

Körber believes this integration will provide customers with cost-effective, rapidly deployable fulfillment solutions to improve last-mile delivery efficiency. Libiao Robotics, headquartered in Hangzhou, China, develops its own patented technologies.
