Körber Supply Chain Software has finalized its acquisition of MercuryGate International Inc., a company specializing in transportation management systems (TMS). This acquisition marks one of the largest in the supply chain software sector this year.

The move is intended to enhance Körber Supply Chain Software's offerings across the entire supply chain, aiming to improve efficiency and visibility from order management through to transportation. The company also announced the appointment of Tim Moylan as Chief Commercial Officer and Beth Hendriks, formerly CTO of MercuryGate, as the new CTO of Körber Supply Chain Software.

"The acquisition of MercuryGate is a significant accelerator to provide our customers with the flexibility to choose best-in-class products or integrated suites that best meet their specific operational and business needs," stated Ed Auriemma, CEO at Körber Supply Chain Software.

The company believes the combined solutions will strengthen its position in supply chain execution. The addition of new leadership is expected to bolster the company's efforts to support clients navigating complex supply chains.

MercuryGate provides transportation management solutions utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning. Körber Supply Chain Software estimates that the acquisition will increase its annual net revenue by approximately 25 percent.
