Körber Supply Chain Software completes acquisition of MercuryGate

Körber Supply Chain Software, a joint venture between Körber and KKR, has completed the purchase of MercuryGate International Inc. The acquisition represents one of the largest deals in the supply chain software sector this year, with the company expecting the addition to contribute approximately 25 percent to its annual net revenue.

This move integrates MercuryGate’s transport management systems (TMS) into Körber’s existing software portfolio, intended to bridge the gap between warehousing and final-mile delivery. By streamlining processes from order processing to transport management, the company aims to reduce operational silos and improve visibility across the supply chain.

Concurrent with the acquisition, the company announced leadership appointments. Beth Hendriks, formerly CTO of MercuryGate, has been named CTO of Körber Supply Chain Software. Tim Moylan has joined as the company's first Chief Commercial Officer to lead global sales. CEO Ed Auriemma stated that these personnel changes and the acquisition are intended to provide clients with greater flexibility in choosing between integrated suites and specialized products.
