Kraken Robotics Appoints New Senior Executives

Kraken Robotics Inc. announced Tuesday the appointment of two industry professionals to key executive roles. Dr. Tom Tureaud has been named Vice President of Underwater Systems, and Gina Millar will serve as Senior Project Manager for Underwater Systems. These appointments are intended to strengthen the company's expertise in underwater technology and its strategic focus.

Dr. Tureaud brings over 30 years of experience in the underwater systems industry, including 12 patents and extensive work in designing advanced underwater systems. His background includes leading the underwater platform group at Vehicle Control Technologies. Millar joins with more than a decade of experience in system engineering for unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), having previously worked at International Submarine Engineering Ltd.

According to Kraken CEO Karl Kenny, the new appointments reflect the company’s commitment to industry leadership and are driven by increasing customer demand and ongoing innovation. Kenny stated that both Tureaud and Millar possess the high-caliber skills necessary to advance the company's strategy and deliver sophisticated underwater solutions to commercial and military clients.

Kraken Robotics Inc., founded in 2012, specializes in the development and sale of synthetic aperture sonar (SAS) technology. The company's products are utilized by defense contractors, survey companies, and research institutions for real-time, high-resolution seabed imaging.
