Krispy Kreme Launches Pokémon Doughnuts for 30th Anniversary

Krispy Kreme is releasing a new line of six doughnuts inspired by the Pokémon franchise to commemorate its 30th anniversary. This follows similar collaborations by other brands like Target and Puma.

The collection features doughnuts designed to resemble popular Pokémon characters such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff, alongside a Poké Ball-themed doughnut. Each character-inspired doughnut offers a unique flavor and design. For instance, the Bulbasaur doughnut is an Original Glazed dipped in vanilla icing and finished with green frosting.

In addition to the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme has updated its packaging and Doughnut Dots. Customers can also collect five different limited-edition cups featuring the Pokémon characters. The doughnuts are available for individual purchase or in dozen and half-dozen boxes.

The Pokémon doughnuts will be available at participating Krispy Kreme locations starting August 18, with pre-orders open now on the company's website. Furthermore, on August 22, customers wearing Pokémon merchandise to a store will receive a free Original Glazed doughnut.
