Kristin O. Augestad appointed interim CEO of Multiconsult
Multiconsult ASA's board of directors has appointed Kristin O. Augestad as interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. She will serve while the company progresses its proposed merger with Rejlers.
Multiconsult ASA has appointed Kristin O. Augestad as the company's interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Augestad will hold the position as the company proceeds with its planned merger with Swedish firm Rejlers. The appointment took effect immediately.
Augestad currently serves as EVP Norway and will continue in this role alongside her interim CEO responsibilities. She joined Multiconsult in 1997 and has held a number of leadership positions within the group, including several years on the executive management team.
The appointment comes as Multiconsult prepares to merge with Rejlers. The companies previously announced their intention to combine, a move that would create a significant player in the Nordic and European engineering and consulting services market.
Augestad's extensive experience within the company and its operations is seen as key to ensuring stability during the transition period. The company has not provided a specific timeline for the appointment of a permanent CEO.
