KT&G Showcases Duty-Free Brands at Cannes Exhibition
KT&G participated in the TFWA World 2026 exhibition in Cannes, France, to display its global brands and growth in the duty-free market. The company aims to reinforce its position as a global tobacco company.

South Korean tobacco company KT&G participated in TFWA World 2026, the world's largest exhibition for the duty-free and travel retail industry, held in Cannes, France, from September 27 to October 1, 2026.
KT&G has attended the event for five consecutive years to strengthen its position as a global player and expand its duty-free business. The company showcased products from its flagship brands, including ESSE, RAISON, and BOHEM. Notably, ESSE, the world's top-selling ultra-slim cigarette brand, which surpassed KRW 1 trillion (approximately USD 700 million) in global sales in 2025, was a focal point.
The company entered the duty-free market in 1995. Currently, its products are available in 179 duty-free stores across approximately 110 airports worldwide, including in South Korea. Following the exhibition, KT&G plans to expand its duty-free business into regions such as Europe and Latin America.
A KT&G spokesperson stated that the participation in TFWA World provided a valuable opportunity to explore new business prospects with international partners and raise brand awareness. The company intends to continue expanding its global network and enhancing brand competitiveness in overseas markets. KT&G has also participated in other industry trade shows this year in markets including Singapore and Germany.
