KTGY Names William Bate as New CEO
Architecture and design firm KTGY has appointed William Bate as its new Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Tricia Esser, who is retiring after a long tenure with the company.

KTGY, a national design firm specializing in architecture, interior design, branded environments, and urban design, has announced the appointment of William Bate as its new Chief Executive Officer. Bate succeeds Tricia Esser, who has been with the firm since its founding in 1991 and served as CEO since 2006.
Esser will remain with KTGY as a strategic partner and advisor to Bate, ensuring continuity and a smooth transition. She will also retain her position on the Board of Directors. "Tricia Esser’s leadership and dedication over the last three decades have been critical in broadening KTGY’s reach as a national firm," said Jill Williams, chairman of the board.
William Bate joins KTGY from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he served as Managing Director and Partner, leading their North America Real Estate and Cities practice. He brings extensive expertise in strategy, operations, digital transformation, and M&A, with a proven record of driving large-scale growth in the real estate and services sectors. Bate will be based out of the firm's East Coast office.
"I’m honored to join KTGY at such an exciting moment in its journey," said Bate. "This is a firm with a strong legacy and a clear sense of purpose. I look forward to working alongside the team here to shape what’s next and deliver meaningful impact for our clients and communities."
