Architecture and design firm KTGY announced that principal Terry Willis will retire from his role on March 29, 2024. Willis has served with KTGY for nearly 10 years, leaving a significant mark on the company's success.
Willis's 45-year career in architecture has included design work across the United States, as well as in Canada, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan. During his tenure at KTGY, he was instrumental in expanding the firm's Denver office. His work has focused on designing communities that have delivered enduring value to clients.
Among Willis's notable KTGY projects are Vita Littleton, Capitol Square Apartments, and the Central Park Station Masterplan in the Denver area. His recent work has focused on the multifamily studio in Denver, where he has collaborated with principals Nathan Sciarra and Kyle Millar.
Chris Texter, a member of KTGY's Board of Directors, emphasized that Willis's leadership, strategic insights, and creative thinking have been invaluable to the firm's growth in the Rocky Mountain region. Texter also noted that Willis fostered an open and supportive office culture that nurtured talent and mentored future leaders.
