Kulkea Launches Heated Ski Boot Backpack
Kulkea has introduced the Thermal Kart, a 40-liter heated and insulated backpack designed to keep ski boots warm and organized. The carry-on-friendly bag reaches up to 140°F (60°C).
Kulkea, a New England-based gear bag company, has launched the Thermal Kart, a heated and insulated travel backpack designed to keep ski boots warm and organized. The 40-liter bag is intended to fit within airline carry-on size restrictions.
The Thermal Kart uses thermal conduction to warm ski boot shells, with adjustable heat settings ranging from low to high, reaching up to 140°F (60°C). It provides dedicated space for other ski day essentials, including a helmet, which can be attached externally via a deployable sling. The bag can be powered via a standard AC wall plug or a 12V DC automobile plug.
"We wanted to create something that solved a very specific problem: giving skiers warm boots in a bag that is compact, organized and easy to travel with," said David Abramowitz, CEO and Founder of Kulkea. "The result is a heated boot bag that's designed specifically around that experience."
Constructed from durable, recycled diamond ripstop polyester with a waterproof tarpaulin bottom and sides, the Thermal Kart also features reinforced stress points and YKK zippers. The bag is UL safety standard certified and retails for $279.95.
