Jack Shanahan, driving on Kumho Ecsta V730 tires, claimed third place in the seventh round of the Formula Drift PRO Championship at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This podium finish represents Shanahan's third top-three result of the season in his E82 BMW.
Shanahan previously finished third at the season opener on the Streets of Long Beach and second in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. In the Las Vegas event, he qualified sixth and advanced through the competition bracket, defeating drivers like Chris Forsberg. He was narrowly eliminated in the semi-finals by his brother, Conor, after dropping two tires off course.
Despite the semi-final loss, Shanahan remains fourth in the overall Formula Drift PRO Championship standings with one round remaining. The Kumho Ecsta V730 tire is described by the company as an extreme-performance summer tire designed for grip and responsiveness in demanding track conditions.
