Kymeta Launches New Multi-Orbit Flat-Panel Antenna
Kymeta has unveiled the Goshawk u8, an "on-the-move" flat-panel antenna designed for simultaneous multi-orbit satellite communication.

Technology company Kymeta has introduced the Goshawk u8, a new flat-panel antenna designed for on-the-move applications.
The Goshawk u8 joins Kymeta's existing Osprey u8 antenna, both utilizing the company's electronically steered satellite technology. This system allows for seamless transitions between multiple satellite constellations without manual adjustments, ensuring continuous connectivity even when vehicles are in motion outside of cellular network coverage.
Kymeta has previously announced the fulfillment of customer orders for its Osprey u8 antenna, particularly for military users. The company's market strategy appears to focus on providing persistent connectivity solutions for diverse operational environments.
Recent company activities also include partnerships aimed at enhancing communications for first responders, such as collaborations with Microsoft and Nomad GCS. Kymeta's technology has also been deployed to support remote alternative energy facilities and for disaster recovery efforts.
