Kymeta Launches New Multi-Orbit Mobile Satellite Antenna
Kymeta has introduced the Goshawk u8 antenna, supporting multiple satellite orbits for on-the-move connectivity. The device is targeted at global defense forces and other demanding sectors.

Redmond, WA – Kymeta has unveiled its Goshawk u8 satellite antenna, designed to provide continuous connectivity for mobile platforms. The antenna supports multiple satellite orbits, including geostationary (GEO) and low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, as well as cellular networks.
The Goshawk u8 is the company's second multi-orbit solution and is intended for integration across a range of vehicles and vessels. Kymeta states the device offers a customizable and reliable connection, designed to address critical connectivity needs globally, particularly for defense forces.
According to Kymeta CEO Rick Bergman, the Goshawk u8 addresses the increasing demand for high-performance mobile connectivity in unpredictable environments. The device's software-defined capabilities ensure consistent and secure communications, even in remote and rugged conditions.
The antenna's multi-orbit capability enhances availability and flexibility. Kymeta describes the unit as a low-power, low-profile solution, facilitating its deployment and operation. The company continues to advance satellite communication technology to provide customers with always-on connectivity worldwide.
Kymeta will be demonstrating the Goshawk u8 at the Global MilSatCom event in London from November 4-7.
