LA County Democrats Endorse 'No' on Inglewood's Measure BB
The Los Angeles County Democratic Party has voted to oppose Measure BB on Inglewood's November 3, 2026 ballot. The measure, if passed, would divert advertising revenue from the city.

The Los Angeles County Democratic Party has officially endorsed a "No" vote on Measure BB, set to appear on Inglewood's ballot on November 3, 2026. This decision aligns the county's largest political organization with local officials and community leaders who have criticized the measure.
Measure BB, placed on the ballot by stadium interests, proposes to eliminate the City of Inglewood's authority to collect revenue from advertising on public property. These funds, estimated at $8 million annually, currently support public safety, parks, senior programs, and street repairs. The measure would not remove billboards but would cease city revenue generation from them.
Critics, including Oliver Unaka, campaign manager for Inglewood Residents for Stadium Accountability, have labeled Measure BB a "Billionaires' Bailout." Unaka stated that the measure disproportionately affects the city's finances while allowing stadium-related advertising to continue.
The endorsement by the County Democratic Party joins that of Inglewood's mayor, city council candidates, and local faith leaders. Supporters of the "No" campaign argue that this broad backing signifies community consensus and aims to preserve essential city resources.
