LA County Jobs First Collaborative Releases Strategic Blueprint, Expands Leadership
The LA County Jobs First Collaborative has released its "Legacy Blueprint," a strategic roadmap to sustain regional economic development, and has expanded its leadership committee.

The LA County Jobs First Collaborative has officially released the "Legacy Blueprint," a comprehensive strategic roadmap designed to sustain regional infrastructure, cross-sector relationships, and economic development priorities established through Governor Newsom's California Jobs First initiative. Alongside the publication, the Collaborative has inaugurated its expanded 21-member Investment & Sustainability Advisory Committee (ISAC) to guide equitable economic growth across Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles County, with an estimated Gross County Product of $1 trillion, requires robust regional coordination to drive inclusive prosperity. The Collaborative engages over 800 partners, including community-based organizations, labor, industry, education, and government. The initiative has been convened by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) with fiscal stewardship from the California Community Foundation since 2023.
The "Legacy Blueprint," developed over eight months of research and planning, outlines actionable recommendations for long-term governance, regional investment, funding sustainability, policy advocacy, and partner engagement. The document aims to ensure the momentum generated by the coalition outlasts individual funding cycles.
The newly expanded 21-member ISAC committee is structured to represent different service planning areas of the county, core economic priorities, and functional roles in governance and investment. Its purpose is to transition collaborative strategies from planning into concrete implementation and long-term impact.
