La Toque Announces Annual Truffle and Mushroom Themed Dining Events
Napa restaurant La Toque will host its 13th annual Truffles & Barolo dinner in November followed by a mycological-themed event in December.
Napa-based restaurant La Toque has confirmed its upcoming culinary schedule, featuring two specialized dinner events. On November 20, the restaurant will host its 13th annual Truffles & Barolo dinner, welcoming Italian chef Carlo Zarri of Villa San Carlo to collaborate on a five-course menu.
The event highlights the culinary traditions of Italy's Piedmont region, focusing on seasonal truffles and aged Barolo wines. As part of the programming, attendees will have access to a curated selection of rare wines sourced from the Zarri family cellar.
Following the truffle-focused dinner, La Toque will host its second annual Fungi Forager’s Feast on December 13. Featuring mycologist Dr. Gordon Walker, the event combines a wild mushroom-inspired menu with a discussion on the cultural and ecological significance of fungi. The dinner also serves as a platform for a book signing with Dr. Walker.
Reservations for both events are now open. La Toque continues to emphasize seasonal ingredient sourcing and collaborations with international producers as core components of its operational model.
