LABELHOOD concludes 2026 YOUTOPIA fashion talent initiative in Shanghai
Emerging Chinese designers were recognized at the 2026 YOUTOPIA Fashion Final, an incubation platform designed to bridge academic talent with the commercial fashion industry.
The 2026 YOUTOPIA Fashion Final concluded in Shanghai, showcasing a new wave of Chinese creative talent through runway presentations and industry evaluations. Zhangchong Feng secured the 'YOUTOPIA Star of the Year' title, while Zixin Wang was recognized with the 'JORDAN x YOUTOPIA Special Award.' The event, organized by LABELHOOD, serves as a hub for connecting university-level creatives with professional development resources.
Originally launched as a student showcase, the YOUTOPIA platform now encompasses a multidisciplinary approach, integrating fashion with photography, makeup artistry, and display design. The program relies on partnerships with the Shanghai Fashion Designers Association (SFDA) and the JING'AN FASHION RESIDENCY to provide long-term support for emerging brands, including workspace and professional mentorship.
Commercial and industry partners play a significant role in the initiative's ecosystem. Moncler sponsors specific awards, while the social media platform Douyin functions as a partner to amplify designer visibility and content performance.
