LaBelle Patrimoine Ground Chicken Expands to Whole Foods Stores Nationwide

LaBelle Patrimoine announced on October 1, 2026, that its Ancient Blend Ground Chicken is now available in Whole Foods Market stores nationwide. The company stated the product aligns with increasing consumer interest in nutrient-dense foods and whole-bird utilization.

Ancient Blend Ground Chicken is made from pasture-raised chicken meat mixed with liver, heart, and gizzard. A serving reportedly contains 21 grams of protein and is a naturally rich source of vitamins and minerals. Mike Charles, founder and CEO of LaBelle Patrimoine, noted the product is designed to meet consumer needs for foods that are both flavorful and nourishing, utilizing the entire bird.

The product, formerly known as Ancestral Ground Chicken, has been renamed Ancient Blend Ground Chicken to reflect its roots in time-honored culinary traditions. The blend includes a carefully balanced amount of organ meats to enhance flavor and nutritional value while maintaining a mild, versatile taste. It is sold in one-pound frozen blocks and can be used as a substitute for ground meat in various dishes, including burgers, meatballs, and stews.

According to LaBelle Patrimoine, the nationwide rollout at Whole Foods reflects a growing trend towards nutrient-dense foods and whole-animal utilization, which helps reduce food waste. The company also emphasizes that its products come from an exclusive heritage breed of slow-growing chickens raised on small family farms without antibiotics and meeting Global Animal Partnership's highest animal welfare standards.
