Laminar Pharma Completes Last Patient Visit in Glioblastoma Trial

Laminar Pharma has announced that the last patient has completed their final visit (LPLV) in the company's Phase 2b/3 clinical trial of LAM561, a treatment for newly diagnosed glioblastoma. This marks the conclusion of the active clinical monitoring phase of the study.

The company anticipates reporting topline results from the study during the second quarter of 2027. Achieving LPLV represents a significant operational step as the trial progresses through data lock and towards an analysis of overall survival.

The trial evaluates LAM561 in combination with standard of care. Interim unblinded data announced in March 2025 suggested a potential clinically relevant improvement in progression-free survival for a specific patient subgroup. The safety profile has remained consistent throughout the trial.

Laminar Pharma is continuing LAM561 treatment for patients experiencing clinical benefit through a compassionate use program until marketing authorization is granted. The combination of LAM561 and standard of care has been well-tolerated among the 144 enrolled patients.

Glioblastoma is the most common primary malignant brain tumor, with a poor prognosis. There is a significant need for novel and effective treatment alternatives.
