LandGate Adds European Data Center Mapping to Global Platform
LandGate has expanded its global platform to include mapping of European data centers, covering over 2,100 sites across 10 key markets. The new data offers site-level insights into energy performance and operations.

LandGate, a provider of network data and insights for energy and digital infrastructure, has extended its spatial platform to map European data centers. This new dataset provides site-level spatial visibility, energy performance indicators, and operational tracking across key international markets, complementing LandGate’s existing national data layer.
The expansion covers over 2,100 facilities across ten major European markets, including the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, and Switzerland. Data is accessible via GIS, API, and direct data export.
"Site selection in Europe is undergoing a structural shift due to accelerating hyperscale deployments and AI workloads driving power density requirements to record levels," said Yoann Hispa, CEO of LandGate. "By integrating site-specific spatial data across Europe, we provide developers, site selection managers, and energy professionals with the tools to simultaneously assess land, power supply, connectivity, and permitting."
The new coverage provides granular data on each market. For instance, the UK has network connection requests exceeding 70 GW, while Ireland's data centers consumed 21% of national electricity in 2023. Sweden is highlighted as a target for AI workloads due to its hydropower reserves and cool ambient temperatures.
LandGate, acquired by Wood Mackenzie in June 2026, aims to provide strategic information for site selection and energy procurement globally. The company's platform now offers insights into over 6,200 sites in the U.S. and more than 4,000 international sites across over 160 countries.
