Länsförsäkringar Alliance reports profit increase for Jan-June 2026

Länsförsäkringar Alliance's non-life insurance operations reported a profit before tax of SEK 8,931 million for the period January-June 2026. This marks a substantial increase from SEK 31 million in the same period of 2025. The significant improvement was largely driven by investment income, which amounted to SEK 8,560 million, a strong rebound from SEK -56 million in the prior year.

The technical result for the non-life insurance business also improved, reaching SEK 2,257 million compared to SEK 1,401 million in the first half of 2025. Earned premiums after ceded reinsurance grew by 7% to SEK 20,005 million from SEK 18,781 million. The combined ratio for the non-life operations stood at 93.8%, an improvement from 96.6% in the previous year.

The Länsförsäkringar AB Group reported a profit before tax of SEK 3,166 million for the period, up from SEK 2,455 million in the corresponding period of 2025. The company did not provide further details on return on equity for the first half of the year.
