Lantech Expands Louisville Facility for Modular Case Erector Production
Lantech has expanded its Louisville, Kentucky manufacturing facility to produce modular case erector machines. The expansion aims to shorten lead times and increase production capacity for North American customers.

Lantech has expanded its manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky, to include the production of its modular case erector machines. This expansion is intended to improve lead times, enhance support for North American customers, and increase overall production capacity for the company's case handling equipment.
The Louisville plant, originally opened in 2023 for standard case erectors (C300 and C400 models), now mirrors Lantech's modular production line in Malden, Netherlands. The first modular case erectors (C1000 and C2000 models) were successfully produced on the new line in December 2024, ensuring consistent quality with global standards.
"The expansion of our Louisville facility is a key investment in our ability to better serve our customers," said Jim Lancaster, Owner and CEO at Lantech. "By bringing modular case erector production closer to our North American customers, we can reduce lead times, optimize costs, and continue to deliver the consistent, high-value equipment Lantech is known for."
This move strengthens Lantech's global manufacturing footprint to meet growing demand for automated packaging machinery. The company, a pioneer in packaging automation since inventing the stretch wrapper in 1972, operates manufacturing facilities in the United States and the Netherlands.
