Lantech opens new manufacturing facility in Kentucky

Lantech has opened a new 15,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky, to enhance its production capacity and customer service in North America. The expansion is a direct response to growing demand for Lantech's case erecting and tray forming equipment in recent years.

This new facility aims to significantly reduce equipment lead times and provide enhanced expertise and support to customers across the United States. The strategic investment underscores Lantech's commitment to responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

The factory, located adjacent to Lantech's existing headquarters and manufacturing plant at 11100 Decimal Drive, will begin by assembling the company's entry-level case erectors. Twelve new jobs have been created to launch production, with plans to expand staff as the manufacturing of high-speed, modular machines is phased in next year.

Construction commenced in January, with the first case erector expected to roll off the new line in early June. Lantech's adherence to Lean Manufacturing Principles facilitated a rapid setup of the facility while maintaining the company's established quality standards. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for early June.
