Lantmännen Reports Strong First Four Months of 2026 and Continues Investments
Lantmännen reported an increased operating income for the first four months of 2026 compared to the previous year, with all divisions showing improved results. Net sales also saw a rise.

Lantmännen has announced a strong financial performance for the first four months of 2026, reporting an adjusted operating income of SEK 552 million, an increase from SEK 362 million in the same period last year. Net sales rose by 3.4 percent to SEK 20.4 billion.
The company's performance saw improvements across all its business areas, including Agriculture, Energy, and Food. Lantmännen continues to pursue strategic acquisitions to build new revenue streams, following the divestment of its Swecon division, amid growing geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
The Agriculture division experienced a significant earnings improvement, driven by positive developments in its Swedish and Finnish operations, as well as the impact of the strong 2025 harvest. The Energy division benefited from higher ethanol prices, boosting the results of Lantmännen Biorefineries. The Food division's results were strengthened by increased sales and efficient production, including the acquisition of Lindvalls Chark.
Lantmännen Group President and CEO Magnus Kagevik highlighted the company's strong financial position and continued positive development despite global uncertainties. He emphasized that investments in profitable growth across the entire value chain support Swedish farming and contribute to a resilient food production system. The report was released on June 4, 2026.
