Lappland Guldprospektering AB has announced gold intersections from seven diamond core holes drilled at the Stortjärnhobben prospect in Storuman municipality. Five of the holes returned gold mineralization, according to the company's latest operational update.
The most significant gold intersection reported was 5.1 meters grading 1.76 grams of gold per tonne in hole STH2026003. Additionally, hole STH2025022 yielded the longest intersection, measuring 7 meters at 1.03 grams of gold per tonne.
The gold-bearing intervals were encountered at depths ranging from 14 to 279 meters down-hole. This suggests potential for mineralization both near the surface and at deeper levels within the prospect area. These new results are set to be incorporated into the company's upcoming mineral resource update.
Lappland Guldprospektering expects to release the updated Mineral Resource estimate by the end of October. This revised estimate will include the latest drilling data from Stortjärnhobben, providing a more current assessment of the deposit's potential.
