Laredo Oil signs second letter of intent for UGD technology deployment in Argentina
Laredo Oil has signed a second non-binding letter of intent to implement its Underground Gas Dehydration technology in Argentina’s Santa Cruz province.

Laredo Oil, an Austin-based energy company, has secured its second non-binding letter of intent to deploy its proprietary Underground Gas Dehydration (UGD) technology in Argentina. The agreement focuses on a concession located in the Santa Cruz province, following a similar framework established with a separate regional operator.
The UGD process is designed to remove water from natural gas while still in the reservoir, potentially reducing infrastructure requirements and operating costs for gas extraction. By targeting a second operator, Laredo Oil aims to validate the commercial viability of its technology within the Argentine energy sector.
While the letter of intent outlines the intent for a partnership, it remains non-binding, and final terms regarding implementation and capital investment have yet to be determined. The company continues to seek expansion opportunities as it attempts to integrate its dehydration methods into existing South American gas fields.
