Lars Lundin Appointed Senior Vice President Paper at Holmen
Lars Lundin has taken on the role of Senior Vice President Paper at Holmen, starting in late May 2018. He brings over thirty years of experience from the pulp and paper industry, most recently as CEO of Fiskeby Board.
Lars Lundin officially assumed the position of Senior Vice President Paper at Holmen in late May 2018. Lundin brings three decades of experience within the pulp and paper sector, including prior roles at Stora Enso.
Prior to joining Holmen, Lundin served as the Chief Executive Officer of the paperboard manufacturer Fiskeby Board. His appointment is expected to bolster Holmen's efforts in developing its paper business and enhancing its market position.
Henrik Sjölund, President and CEO of Holmen, highlighted Lundin's proven track record in managing change and his expertise in both production and marketing. "I am convinced that Lars will take Holmen Paper to the next level and seriously challenge wood-free alternatives," Sjölund stated.
Lundin expressed his eagerness to join the Holmen team, noting his long-standing observation of the company's progress from newsprint to its current strength in book and specialty papers. He anticipates leveraging his experience to further sharpen Holmen's competitiveness.
