Laser Components Germany GmbH has expanded its in-house production to include industrial-grade fiber stripping tools. These tools are designed for precise preparation of optical fibers in manufacturing and assembly processes.
Laser Components Germany GmbH has added high-precision stripping tools for optical fibers intended for industrial use to its portfolio of in-house manufactured products. These fiber strippers are now produced at the company’s own manufacturing facility.
The company states that on-site control of the entire manufacturing process, coupled with a specialized grinding process for the blades, ensures exceptional quality, maximum precision, and durability. The tools are designed to prepare optical fibers carefully for the delicate glass cladding required in all splicing and assembly tasks.
Three distinct models are available: one for very thin fiber cores used in data communication, another for larger cores in industrial applications, and a third model with adjustable settings for various core diameters. The internal manufacturing capability also allows for customization, including customer-specific fibers and markings.
This expansion into producing fiber stripping tools supports Laser Components' broader offerings in fiber optics and aims to meet the demand for precise and reliable fiber preparation in industrial settings.
