AngMar Management Service, a Texas-based healthcare company providing home health and hospice services, reported the incident around September 10, 2026. The company detected suspicious activity on July 20, 2026, and determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed data beginning around July 18, 2026. The breach reportedly occurred on July 31, 2026, when an employee emailed documents to an unauthorized actor.
Exposed information could include names, Social Security numbers, financial details, and medical records. While at least nine New Hampshire residents have been notified, the full scope of affected individuals across other states remains unclear. AngMar Management Service is notifying affected individuals by mail.
Edelson Lechtzin LLP is examining the possibility of pursuing a class action lawsuit. Such action could seek compensation for losses including lost time, out-of-pocket expenses, and loss of privacy, and aim to compel AngMar Management Service to enhance its data protection practices.
