Lawsuit Alleges Comcast Store Forced Sales Staff To Smash Pies In Faces
A lawsuit filed against Comcast alleges a Connecticut store manager subjected low-performing sales employees to a humiliating ritual involving pies smashed into their faces, in alleged attempts to meet sales goals.

Comcast's retail division is facing a lawsuit alleging that a store manager in Plainville, Connecticut, implemented a policy of physically humiliating underperforming employees. The lawsuit claims the lowest-ranked sales consultant each month was tied to a chair and had a cream pie smashed into their face.
Plaintiff David Figueroa, a former retail sales consultant, alleges the practice was designed and implemented by store manager Sully Fuentes Peterson. The ritual was reportedly intended to boost sales figures and improve customer survey responses.
Figueroa's complaint states that the manager also allegedly filmed these incidents and compelled other employees to participate in recording the assaults. The lawsuit claims employees were forced to document the pie-smashing events.
Comcast has not yet released a public statement regarding the allegations. The lawsuit is seeking damages for the alleged humiliation and distress caused by the store's practices.
